Job Description:
The Network Security Engineer is responsible for designing,
implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to
protect our organization's digital infrastructure from cyber
threats. The Network Security Engineer will lead efforts to assess,
plan, and execute security measures to safeguard our networks,
systems, and data assets and collaborate with cross-functional
teams to mitigate them, and ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations. The Network Security Engineer will also
monitor network traffic, analyze security breaches, and implement
appropriate solutions to enhance network security and access.
Strong technical expertise in network protocols, firewalls,
intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and encryption
technologies is essential for success in this role. The candidate
should possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to
detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and
as part of a team. A proactive approach to identifying and
addressing security vulnerabilities, along with strong
communication skills, is critical for this position.Company

Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage network security
infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion
detection/prevention systems, and other security
appliances/devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
assess business needs and define requirements for user
provisioning, access control, authentication, and authorization.
Conduct security assessments and audits of network architectures,
configurations, and protocols to identify vulnerabilities and
recommend remediation measures. Develop and implement security
policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with
industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., PCI DSS,
NIST, CIS). Lead incident response efforts to investigate and
respond to security breaches, intrusions, and other cybersecurity
incidents in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with IT
teams and stakeholders to integrate security requirements into
network design, implementation, and maintenance processes. Monitor
network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity, analyze
security events, and initiate appropriate response actions. Provide
technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members, sharing
knowledge and best practices in network security. Stay informed
about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies,
and make recommendations for enhancements to network security
posture. Prepare and present reports on network security metrics,
incidents, and compliance status to management and stakeholders.
Integrate IAM solutions with other security tools and systems, such
as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, to
enhance visibility and monitoring capabilities. Automate IAM
processes and workflows to streamline user provisioning,
deprovisioning, and access requests. Monitor network traffic for
suspicious activity and security breaches; investigate and respond
to security incidents in a timely manner. Configure and manage
firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and
other security devices to protect against unauthorized access and
malicious activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest security
threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies; recommend and implement
security solutions to mitigate risks. Collaborate with IT teams to
ensure compliance with industry standards HIPAA, GDPR, FDIC,
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and FISMA. and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on
network security-related issues and best practices. Participate in
security incident response drills and exercises to ensure
preparedness for potential security incidents. Continuously monitor
and evaluate the effectiveness of network security controls; make
recommendations for improvements as needed. Participate in security

in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field + 8
years of experience in a Network Security role. One of the
following Security certifications: Certified Information Systems
Auditor (CISA), CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker(CEH),
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Offensive Security
Certified Professional (OSCP) Certified Information Systems
Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security
Manager (CISM) required. Proven experience in designing,
implementing, and maintaining network solutions and infrastructure
with a strong understanding of networking protocols, architectures,
and technologies. Hands-on experience with network security tools
and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, etc.
Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from
vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Fortinet,
etc. Experience with network security protocols and standards, such
as IPsec, SSL/TLS, DNSSEC, SNMP, etc. Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security
issues and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network security
