Job Description:
Enterprise Applications Manager (The Boston Consulting Group,
Inc. - Dallas, Texas): Manage large-scale ERP and IT projects, and
solve client issues through the development of IT/ERP concepts and
architecture solutions. Specific duties include: restructure
business and IT processes and organizations within an ERP
construct; support IT functions during mergers and acquisitions,
including the functional and technical transformation of an
organizations IT department; analyze and evaluate an organizations
IT and ERP architecture; develop road maps and current state
assessments; design and implement feasibility studies for ERP
strategy; define global and local deployment strategy and develop
infrastructure approach and high-level design of ERP solutions;
optimize depth of value added in ERP, restructuring core ERP
processes, and recommending ERP software and ERP platforms; manage
project expectations and maintain control of situations when
escalated; develop teams talent by providing director and
facilitating technical architectural discussions; assist with
business development through writing proposals and scoping
projects; and contribute to thought leadership through written
publications, and speaking at events and conferences. Requires a
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information
technology, business management, mathematics or related field
(willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years
of functional and technical experience in IT/ERP consulting,
implementation and upgrades, professional software development,
solution architectures or IT project management with a focus on
packaged applications on SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or Workday.
Specific skills/other requirements must also possess the following
(quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this
section): (i) implementing SAP solutions for finance and logistics
transformations by gathering requirements, performing Fit-Gap
analysis, and designing infrastructure and software architectures;
(ii) developing business process designs and configurations; (iii)
planning and managing complex projects in two or more end-to-end
ERP implementations in a waterfall, agile or Hybrid agile setting;
(iv) designing architecture and support models for ERP, mobility,
data analytics and SaaS implementation projects; (v) analyzing,
evaluating and redesigning IT architectures; (vi) leading teams in
the design and implementation of tools to automate and transform
operational reporting; (vii) working with multiple clients across
different industry segments to develop enterprise application
roadmap and design prospective scalable and robust architecture;
(viii) overseeing multiple implementation projects where
functionality spans across SAP and non-SAP systems; (ix) and
leading teams responsible for designing and prototyping screens,
wireframes, and defining and creating data dictionaries and
translations across systems. Up to 80% domestic travel required.
