Description: U.S. Company is seeking a Dallas based field service engineer

\r\n\\r\\nto install and service large and grand format ink

jet\\r\\nprinting \r\nsystems in the United States. Candidate will be

called on to \\r\\ninstall \r\nequipment,\\r\\ntroubleshoot and service

complex digital electro-mechanical \r\nsystems and \\r\\nsoftware in

a\\r\\nfast paced, challenging environment. \r\nCandidate will also be

responsible \\r\\nfor equipment\\r\\nservice and \r\ntraining operators

and equipment maintenance personnel.\\r\\nThe candidate \r\nwill be

responsible for representing Durst Image Technology \\r\\nUS in

\r\na\\r\\nprofessional manner, managing travel and travel costs and

maintaining \r\na \\r\\nhigh level of\\r\\ncustomer satisfaction. The

candidate will serve a \r\nlocal customer base and \\r\\naround the U.S.

Travel will be variable in the \r\n50%- 70% range. Training

\\r\\nwill\\r\\ntake place in Rochester, NY and at \r\nthe manufacturing

facilities in Brixen, \\r\\nItaly and

\r\nLienz,\\r\\nAustria.\\r\\nReports to: U.S. Field Service

Manager\\r\\nTravel: In \r\nthe U.S. 50% - 70% variable\\r\\nLocations:

Rochester, NY\\r\\nPotential \r\nrelocation requirement:

Yes\\r\\nEducation requirements: Minimum 2 year \r\ndegree in engineering

or applied\\r\\ntechnology.\\r\\n\\r\\nWork experience: \r\nCandidate must

have experience with\\r\\ntroubleshooting and repairing \r\ndigital

electro-mechanical systems. \\r\\nKnowledge of ink jet\\r\\nand

\r\nimaging technology a plus but not required. \\r\\n\\r\\nExperience and

\r\nskills:\\r\\n• Strong proficiency with PC operation, configuration and

\r\nnetworking and\\r\\nWindows required\\r\\n• Excellent communication

and \r\ncustomer service skills required\\r\\n• Proficiency with reading

schematics \r\nand wiring diagrams required.\\r\\n• Proficiency with

electronic instruments \r\n\\r\\n• Experience with imaging technology and

color management a plus but \r\nnot \\r\\nrequired\\r\\n• Good driving

record\\r\\nPhysical Requirements: \r\nCandidate must be able to lift 75

lbs and push, \\r\\npull and reach\\r\\nfor \r\nboxes and parts weighing

up to 75lbs.
