Job Description:

Duties: Will serve as a key member on the Fidelity Pricing & Cash

Management Services (FPCMS) Systems and Solutions Delivery team to provide

core application development and support services for all FPCMS systems.

The team works on technology-based projects in collaboration with other

Fidelity systems divisions, customers, and custodian banks. Will support

small to large projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides software development and maintenance support for projects

working with the Business Unit and the Operations Support department

• Responsible for supporting implementation of moderate-scope

projects or major initiatives

• Provides application support for appropriate platform, and may

serve as on-call resource to support the organization’s service and

escalation model

• Supports all phases of testing leading to implementation

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project

• Create or contribute to technical project documentation

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering,

Information Systems, Math or Physics (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) as well as 4 years of experience in job offered or 4 years of

experience in COBOL mainframe application development within an asset

management environment. Experience must include: Demonstrated Expertise

(“DE”) writing outbound file queries and wraparound code using COBOL and

JCL, as well as Sungard InvestOne to perform fund accounting functions; DE

writing CICS transaction processing applications in COBOL within a DB2

relationship database management system environment; DE performing data

centric manipulation using VSAM and writing interprocess communications

across multiple platforms according to MQ series; DE in change

configuration management using Endeavor and scheduling jobs using CONTROL-

M.
