Job Description:

Duties: Will work on Fidelity’s Proprietary Management Information System

(MIS) and Direct Access Reporting and Trading (DART) applications and their

Preproduction environments.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform DART/MIS test environment configuration, including

development and testing; data masking, code deployment, batch cycle

execution/support;

• Perform release activities, environment retrofits, web site

maintenance;

• Engage in infrastructure projects, environment shakeouts and

schema/script activities;

• Trouble shoot Environment related issues reported by various

application groups; and work on BMC ControlM Job scheduler on Distributed

Environments.

• Perform administration of Informatica Engine and repository using

Informatica mapping designer, repository manager, workflow manager and

workflow monitor; and mapping changes according to the requirement.

• Perform execution of MIS Batch Cycle on Unix Platform, including

write Unix Shell scripts, SQL for daily release and administration tasks,

Web Page designing of environment services website using HTML, XML and Java

Scripts. Create shell Scripts for different system administration tasks.

• Configure and prepare environments for testing by running post

refresh activity.

• Trouble shoot Environment related issues reported by various

application groups

• Perform modification of batch scripts, building schedules,

troubleshooting, rewriting/testing of script files, Control-M

administration/upgrades, setting up test environments for Development/QA,

batch processing, deployments, job monitoring, and providing production

support.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math,

Physics, Technology, or related field (willing to accept foreign education

equivalent) as well as 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years

of experience providing integrated pre-production environment support

within an asset management environment. Experience must include:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in stock reporting and trading applications and

management information systems applications within an asset management

environment; DE in production data masking, Test Environment Preparation,

Support and Troubleshooting; DE in Exadata, batch and MIS cycle execution

within a UNIX and Oracle environment using Control M and Informatica Power

Center; DE in application deployment within a UNIX test production

environment.
