Job Description:
Duties: Will be a member of the Fidelity Financial Advisor
Solutions Company (FFAS) investment management services responsible for
the design, development and maintenance of various customer-facing
applications including FFAS' primary web presence, advisor.fidelity.com.
Other applications include our Advisor Mobile Marketing application,
fund Pricing & Performance Center, and a few intranet applications. Primary Responsibilities • Design and develop critical business functionality within a
J2EE environment to help achieve milestones and deliverables based on FFAS' internet and
mobile strategies. • Adhere to, promote, and drive development and methodology
best practices currently adopted by the distributed agile development team. • Contribute to all aspects of project delivery, including
creating functional specifications, technical architectures, and external interfaces. • Work closely with business partners, analysts and QA
associates using an agile development methodology. • Provide support and maintenance duties for web applications
in FFAS' production environment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics (willing to accept foreign education
equivalent) as well as 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of
experience in Java and J2EE development including implementing enterprise
solution released into a production environment. Experience must
include: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing J2EE based web
applications using Java and Spring framework; DE writing web services to extract
business functionality using Java based web services, SQL and Oracle; DE
in object- oriented design and analysis, distributed Scrum and Agile
methodologies, including project and lifecycle management using IBM Rational
