Job Description:
Designs, develops, implements, and supports a suite of products
and tools to compose and deliver financial communications --
regulatory and non-regulatory -- via multiple channels. Migrates
mainframe applications to Cloud environments. Develops SOAP and
REST Web Services, using Java/J2EE, JAX-WS, CXF, and Spring-WS.
Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple
software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied
Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience designing, developing, and
implementing efficient software solutions to address complex
business problems in the billing area. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year
of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience
designing, developing, and implementing efficient software
solutions to address complex business problems in the billing
area. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing, developing, and
implementing software solutions based on RESTful Web services
architecture, using Spring framework to service application clients
for documents from archival systems -- CMOD (IBM), Object Storage,
and Oracle Database. DE developing applications using Java/Spring framework that
leverages classical Model View Layer (MVC) architecture; and
designing and developing Object model and Spring Batch
implementation for back-end services in an application. DE building and deploying code for billing format engines using
Jenkins; and automating the deployment process using Unix Shell
