Job Description:

Duties: Responsible for a team delivering product releases across the

applications comprising the Employee Compliance product line.

Responsibilities include leveraging the Agile development methodology to

deliver new and enhanced business features and capabilities, upgrading

and enhancing product infrastructure, and managing the support

activities around the day-to-day business operations escalated from the

Corporate Technology Group Production Support team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Leverage IBM’s Rational Team Concert (RTC) to manage resources,

product backlog, estimations, capacities, iteration plans, releases, and

day-to-day activities of the team.

• Engage business counterparts in Corporate Compliance and related

business units to gather business requirements, prioritize / plan /

status the work, and manage acceptance testing.

• Maintain product and application data stored in enterprise

repositories such as ITAM, MyMonitoring, and MyApplicationDeliver

against commitments to non-business stakeholders such as Information

Security & Risk and Internal AuditDeliver against IT-4-IT commitments

such as technology upgrades, process enhancements, and infrastructure-

cost-reduction initiatives.

• Effectively partner with other technology organizations within

CTG including Architecture, QA, and Product Support and across the

enterprise to deliver solutions.

• Leverage offshore development teams in FMR India and FMR China.

• Manage a team of temporary and permanent employees in the US.

• Take guidance and direction from product managers on strategic

direction for the products and applications.

• Leverage PMO and (Compliance, Legal, Risk & Security) CLRS tools

in the preparation of status reports, financial reporting, and

operational metrics and statistics.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or

Physics as well as five (5) years of experience in the job offered or

five (5) years of experience in project managing the development of

customized software solutions along the Software Development Life Cycle.

Experience must include: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) managing custom

software development projects for building and maintaining web based

application and enterprise-wide desktop applications within an

Informational Technology environment; DE developing applications in .NET

and Java using Spring framework, Service Oriented Architecture,

SOAP/RESTful web services and using integrated development environment

tools - Visual studio, Eclipse, and SQL Developer; DE in infrastructure

maintenance, technology upgrades and enhancements in a Windows 2008,

Microsoft IIS, IBM Websphere environment, including performing data

analytics and systems requirement analysis in an Oracle database

environment; DE in project managing information technology development

projects with multiple stakeholders, including managing project changes,

and the deliverables of multiple systems development teams according to

Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including performing technical and

data analysis for status reporting, financial reporting and operations

metrics and statistics, and managing resources, budget, schedule, and

risk mitigation.
