Job Description:
Duties: Will be a member of the Personal and Workplace Investing
(PWI) Single Client Feed (SCF) and Integrated Database (IDB) team,
which is responsible for designing, building and maintaining integrated
incoming client data feeds, integrated database applications and managing
the holistic completeness of participant data. Will partners with
Business and Operations teams to deliver systems design documents,
and collaborate within the technology organization to deliver
technology projects. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements as a cross platform developer. • Ensure code quality through thorough unit testing. • Gather and document stated business requirements and
obtain agreement with business partners that stated requirements will
meet overall business objectives. • Participate in business requirements and design sessions for
a specific component of scope within a release. • Translate business needs into functional requirements to
support process, organization and technology change. • Detect scope changes and escalate issues. • Work with Quality Assurance and business partners on test scenarios. • Work with business partners and technology teams to
define, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Maintain trusted relationships with business partners. • Assist in obtaining business and technology sign-off on readiness and criteria associated with transitioning to a
"production" state. • Create and drive project plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics or Physics (or foreign education equivalent) as well
as three (3) years of experience in job offered or three (3) years
of experience in ETL design and development using Informatica;
or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics or Physics (or foreign education equivalent) as well
as one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of
experience in ETL design and development using Informatica. Experience must
include: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing and upgrading
Informatica workflow scripts for employee benefit products and services; DE
in business data modeling of employee benefit products and services
to develop business solutions using TOAD, SQL scripts, and
stored procedures, within Oracle, Sybase and DB2 environments; DE
reverse engineering legacy applications using UNIX command scripts,
Windows Batch Files, C++/C#, and VB scripts; and DE manipulating
mainframe data sets using Syncsort, and building and implementing Java web
services according to Waterfall or Agile Life Cycle Development
