Job Description:
Duties: Serve as a member of the FIISView Quality Engineering
and Analysis Team within Fidelity Institutional Technology (FIT) Group, in
support of the Fidelity Financial Advisor Solutions (FFAS) business unit.
As a member on an Agile development team, will partner with business and
systems teams to define, document and execute detailed tests to ensure
technology maintenance/enhancements and development projects satisfy
business requirements. Our current environment includes .NET, FDNS, CICS,
J2EE, Oracle, DB2 and COBOL. Primary Responsibilities: • Elicit and document requirements using interviews,
document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process
descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow
analysis. • Conduct systems analysis to determine data needs and
technical recommendations. • Provide business and systems analysis support for projects collaborating with customers and developers to identify, define,
interpret, and clarify scope of problems/issues in terms of
business/systems requirements and processes. • In agile projects, facilitate and drive requirements
clarification via standard techniques such as lean driven task/workflow
analysis to identify epics and breakdown epics into stories with acceptance
test criteria to be used to drive iterations. Assure all documented
requirements and acceptance test criteria are transparent to the whole
team. • Assist in leading the application testing process to
verify business and systems requirements. • Develop acceptance test criteria and validating those criteria
in the system. • Facilitate the execution of all test cases and sharing of the
test results and trends. • Adhere to the FFAS Agile process in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment. • Translate business requirements into technical tests. • Assure high quality standards for writing and executing tests;
and create manual and/or automated test scripts. • Mine for data to support test case execution. • Facilitate formal test case reviews. • Write detailed software defect reports. • Participate in the full life cycle of an agile project. • Provide production support on a Client Service .NET
application. • Collaborate with developers and customers on a daily basis
during agile projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, or Physics
and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience in systems analysis and design of .NET distributed applications;
or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Mathematics, or Physics
and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of
experience in systems analysis and design of .NET distributed applications.
Also Requires: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) writing SQL scripts to
query and update relational database tables; DE converting business
requirements into technical requirements and converting the agile user stories
into UI, functional and systems test cases for development and quality
assurance of .NET distribution applications; DE in systems analysis of
service- oriented architecture (SOA), web services XML and .NET
distributed applications within an asset management or financial client
