Job Description:
Builds Business Process Models (BPM) workflows and decision
automation platforms, using Camunda, JIRA, and Confluence. Analyzes
high level business requirements and translates them into technical
specifications for engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Drives the design, build, and delivery of BPM engines. Coordinates
the delivery of BPM product capabilities and product updates to
users. Primary Responsibilities: Converts internal requirements into workable project documents
and process enhancements. Contributes to the estimation, planning, analysis, design, and
development of projects. Contributes to project strategy and deliverable planning, to
include the vision and mission, work plans, and timelines. Estimates appropriate time frames for releases based on effort
estimation. Works closely and collaboratively with squad lead, technology
team, and business partners to gather and document
requirements. Captures customer and user requirements, and creates use cases
and writes user stories. Facilitates requirement gathering sessions with customers,
users, internal teams, and stakeholders. Works on multiple projects simultaneously, and works with teams
across different geographical regions and time zones. Coordinates software system installation and monitoring
equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Reviews and approves labor/service charges to ensure accuracy
and timeliness. Evacuates the overall effectiveness of organizational/technology
structure, and guides principles and operating model. Participates in the financial management/budgeting process for
assigned projects. Conducts business case analyses and readiness assessments for
different types of technologies. Designs and defines maintainable processes based on a functional
architecture. Participates in business requirements inspection. Plans all tasks within an application module, including
estimating, scope definition, and work plan development. Measures progress toward goals and revises work plan
accordingly. Develops implementation plans for new technologies. Identifies potential impact of problems on other groups,
processes, organizations, or issues. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer
software specifications on major projects and proposing
modifications and improvements based on user need. Facilitates small team meetings across business and systems
teams. Provides clear and concise communication when reporting on a
project topic or project status. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience designing, developing, and delivering orchestration and
high-performance application components in an Agile
environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience designing, developing, and delivering
orchestration and high-performance application components in an
Agile environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) designing and implementing Cloud
based self-service Java Web applications according to business
requirements and architecture standards, using Amazon Web Service
(AWS) Cloud based solution architecture, REST and SOAP APIs, and
Swagger; deploying and delivering Cloud based self-service Java Web
applications, using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
(CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins and Artifactory; and monitoring Cloud
based self-service Java Web applications using Datadog. DE participating and implementing all aspects of the Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and delivering innovative software
solutions according to Agile methodologies, security requirements,
and software development best practices, using Git, Stash,
Confluence, and JIRA. DE performing business data analysis, creating customer
engagement and stakeholder alignment, and presenting technical and
analytical data to stakeholders to influence educated data driven
decisions according to financial services standards, using SQL
queries (on Oracle database), NoSQL DynamoDB, and data
warehousing. DE performing story breakdowns, and defining feature lists,
scope definition, use cases, acceptance criteria, effort
estimation, and backlog refinements across distributed off and
on-shore development teams for delivering projects of annual budget
of $10+ million dollars within allocated time, resources, and cost
(budget control), using JIRA, JIRA Align, and ServiceNow
