Job Description:

Develops strategies, analyzes businesses, and assesses opportunities and uses analytic technologies -- Alteryx, SAS, SQL. R, Python, BRIO, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics -- to solve business problems. Performs data analysis, profiling, mining, and modeling, statistical analysis and campaign measurement to enable informed data-driven business decisions required to meet strategic objectives. Drives business decision-making with data derived using statistical and econometric modeling and technological techniques.

Primary Responsibilities:

Acquires data from sources/environments and transforms data to be used for analytics.

Develops and delivers analytical data and insights to solve business problems.

Enables solutions to obtain objectives and informed decisions via data analysis.

Provides opportunities for innovation, using analytics capabilities and implementation of new technologies.

Develops and deploys analytic solutions to drive actionable intelligence, transformative insights, automation, and effective control.

Formulates mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.

Performs validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulates models as necessary.

Collaborates with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.

Presents the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management or other end users.

Collaborates within the organization to ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience performing descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Computer Science, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience performing descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing complex data integration and transformation for dashboard and reporting solutions, using SQL and Alteryx; designing data workflows (using Alteryx) to integrate data cross disparate sources for use in the creation of complex logical metric calculations.

DE transforming data, analyzing data models, and delivering data visualization solutions within a financial services environment, using Tableau or PowerBI.

DE performing data analysis -- financial transactions, assets and flows, client health, associate productivity, and operational data -- to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations; developing data visualizations and dynamic and interactive dashboards to support operational excellence and channel management, and increase client acquisition, retention, and adoption of online tools, using Tableau, PowerBI, SAP Business Objects, Alteryx, or Domo.

DE performing data modeling and data visualization using Tableau Desktop, including worksheets, dashboards, calculated fields, table calculations, parameters, dual axis graphs, and data blending.
