Job Description:
Duties: Test specified applications and integrated systems to
support installation of a quality product into our operations
environment. This includes participating in the testing effort on highly complex
projects involving multiple QA Test Engineers, analysis of client and
product system requirements, including Systems Requirements Analysis (SRA) /
System Design Specifications (SDS) and enhancement requests. Testing is
focused on ensuring system quality standards are met by planning, designing
and executing the appropriate test cases. This includes configuring
test plans, mining and manipulating test data, executing test cases,
first-level triage of defects found, and retesting of defects through resolution.
Will be required to execute project deliverables and tasks on time and
on budget to support profitable and high quality operations service delivery.
Will help train and mentor more junior QA Test Engineers. Primary Responsibilities: • Serve as escalation point person for technical problems
and queries. • Redirect issues to other stakeholders where offshore
involvement is not deemed necessary. • Communicate onshore sensitivities, urgencies etc. to the
offshore team. • Facilitate a better understanding of the team work between DC
QA in India and the U.S. in working together as part of Waterfall
methodology. • Coordinate training sessions and knowledge sharing
activities. • Identify the project risks, escalate to business and stake
holders, plan the risk mitigation strategy. • Attend roundtable discussions with Business Analysts and QA
support group. • Attend meetings for specific project work with the India team
and follow up with adequate communication around minutes, action
items and status updates. • Work with the QA team to prepare and review test plan, run
test cases in QC, check the feasibility of Test Automation. • Focus on the project target dates and ensure SLAs are met. • Collate project defect data and conduct triage meetings. • Work directly with the client regarding needs and
requirements. • Analyze daily/weekly QA status report and summarize and share
with stakeholders. • Track the change controls appropriately and perform
re-estimation on need basis. • Provide constructive feedback to offshore lead of identified
gaps. • Provide technical and process guidance to team in complex
areas of conversion such as Distribution elections, Systematic Withdrawal
plans, PAS- W, Loan Default, Vesting, minimum required distributions,
Automatic enrollment and Annual increase program. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics and four
(4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience in
Quality Assurance testing of a Defined Contribution product and 401(K)
related application portal; or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or
foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics or Physics and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or
two (2) years of experience in Quality Assurance testing of a Defined
Contribution product and 401(K) related application portal. Also
Requires: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) in test planning and test
execution of large complex online Defined Contributions processing applications
using CICS, VSAM, JCL and File aid, and writing SQL queries for data
extraction and manipulation to present test conditions; DE testing Defined
Contributions record keeping applications functions and features, including
application integration points (e.g., 401 related record keeping and
reporting applications), and end-to-end functional, non-functional User
Acceptance and Regression testing within a Waterfall environment; DE in
coordinating, coaching, and providing quality control for an onshore-offshore
team of test analysts; DE using Quality Center to record requirements,
defects, and test plans/cases results and reports using the Dashboard
