Job Description:

Develops applications, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes within Linux, VMware, and Cloud environments. Automates Information Technology (IT) processes with HPOO. Oversees data within Oracle databases using PL/SQL. Oversees batch cycles, application health, incident triaging, problem resolutions, and release/change implementation. Ensures the integrity, stability, maintainability, and availability of enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure in production and non-production environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides on-call support and weekend support on a rotational basis.

Provides technical leadership to both onshore and off-shore resources.

Coordinates software or hardware installation(s).

Monitors computer system performance to ensure proper operation.

Tests and reviews software performance metrics.

Modifies software programs to improve performance.

Applies information technology methodologies to solve business or other applied problems.

Provides application and system environment support to business and systems development teams.

Identifies, isolates, and resolves production and non-production system problems, service requests, and support processes.

Serves as a subject matter expert and crisis and communications manager for major system outages or business-critical issues.

Represents support organization at senior level review and crisis resolution meetings.

Completes cross-practice and computer services requests.

Identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency of on-going service request procedures.

Provides technical leadership for systems installation and configuration and related infrastructure changes.

Collaborates with development and business partners to define plans for transition of ownership of systems/applications to production.

Ensures compliance with Fidelity disaster recovery testing requirements.

Plans and coordinates project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.

Directs complex and creative cross-functional assignments and multi-phase projects.

Researches and recommends new technologies.

Education and Experience:

No degree and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or seven (7) years of experience providing production support for complex accounting and investment management applications running in hybrid, on-premises, and Amazon Web Services Cloud (AWS) environments.

Or, alternatively, Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience providing production support for complex accounting and investment management applications running in hybrid, on-premises, and Amazon Web Services Cloud (AWS) environments.

Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience providing production support for complex accounting and investment management applications running in hybrid, on-premises, and Amazon Web Services Cloud (AWS) environments.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (DE) deploying and supporting complex financial, compliance, and trading applications in AWS Cloud platform, using Enterprise Cloud Computing Operational API tool, Concourse Pipelines, CloudWatch, EC2, and S3 AWS services.

DE developing micro-services in EKS platform; maintaining Continuous Delivery Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using DevOps technologies -- Bitbucket, GitHub, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, and Helm charts.

DE deploying on-premises financial, compliance, and trading applications hosted on Apache Tomcat application servers, using iConfig and uDeploy; and monitoring on-premises financial, compliance, and trading applications, using HP Site scope tool and Kibana.

DE triaging programmatic, systemic, and data issues -- configuration issues and network connectivity issues; fixing production issues to maintain production stability in critical applications, using Datadog, Wireshark, Fiddler, Debug-Diag, and Windows tools.
