Job Description:

Duties: Serve as a member of the Active Trader Pro Team, which is part of

Fidelity’s Personal Investment division. Responsible for enhancing the

desktop and web-based online trading product. Will work with team members

in the development of new features using Agile and Test Driven Development

methodology. Will research Microsoft technology to develop competitive

software, and perform code review for new product features and tools,

including Proof of Control (“POC”) tool.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements for developing desktop and web based

online trading applications.

• Perform technical and functional analysis.

• Work on POC to introduce new technology underneath software.

• Create and deploy Microsoft MSI using Install Shield.

• Strictly follow Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and Model-view-

controller (MVC) design pattern across development and test driven

development keeping a high target on code coverage/product quality.

• Accommodate new feature around existing MVVM framework.

• Follow Chain of Responsibility Design pattern for development, and

implement factory design pattern.

• Accommodate different code and maintain common code across

Silverlight and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) version.

• Perform code review for peers and across different track in team.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information

Systems, Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in the

design and development of online and desktop transaction processing

applications in C#; or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign

education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Technology, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Mathematics

or Physics and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1)

year of experience in the design and development of online and desktop

transaction processing applications in C#. Also Requires: Demonstrated

Expertise (“DE”) in GUI design using Silverlight XAML, HTML5 and Angular

JS; DE in three tier client server architecture using Object Oriented

programming and C#, and consuming REST web services with C# interface; DE

in web application development according to MVVM design patterns and TDD

and Agile development methodologies; DE creating Microsoft Installer (MSI)

and deploying MSI using Install Shield.
