Job Description:

Duties: Responsible for developing, modifying, integrating, and maintaining

software solutions for Fidelity’s distributed platform for customer account

maintenance and business process orchestration.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, decode, test, debug, and document programs on Fidelity’s

distributed platform for systems involving customer account opening,

maintenance and business process orchestration.

• Create technical diagram such as Domain Model, Use Case, Activity

diagrams, and System Context diagram.

• Implement POC (Proof of Concept) programs for various capabilities

to demonstrate feasibility of technical solution for team.

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs;

conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work

processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software

development lifecycle.

• Develop web service technical standards for internal team and

ensure compliance.

• Assist other developers to understand and implement various

SOAP/XML web services standards and best practices.

• Participate in application level architecture.

• Develop original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Develop applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Provide application support for appropriate platform.

• May provide guidance and training to enable other team members to

meet/exceed expectations.

• Perform unit and integration testing of .NET WCF services

using .NET Unit Testing, SOAP UI and Fiddler.

• Produce search reports, monitoring and alerts for distributed web

services using Splunk web tool.

• Develop log management strategy and provide direction to other team

members.

• Support Fidelity’s distributed installation and research/solve

issues during installation.

• Maintain user/external group and vendor relationships.

• Initiate discussions with users or external groups to resolve

issues.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics or Physics and three (3) years of experience in the job offered

or three (3) years of experience in distributed application development for

designing, coding, debugging, and testing e-Commerce and enterprise level

applications; or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education

equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,

Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics and one (1) year of experience

in the job offered or one (1) year of experience in distributed application

development for designing, coding, debugging, and testing e-Commerce and

enterprise level applications. Also Requires: Demonstrated expertise

(“DE”) in developing distributed applications using Microsoft’s .NET

technology; DE in designing, developing and testing ASMX and WCF services

using C#.NET and Web Service Software Factory; and developing WPF (Windows

Desktop) App using C#.NET; DE writing complex queries and stored procedure

using Microsoft SQL Server; DE in analyzing complex algorithms and

developing distributed applications using object oriented design and design

patterns.
