Job Description:

Duties: Develops, supports, and maintains Web-based online trading

applications, according to Agile methodologies. Implements MVC framework

and uses Dependency Injection framework to accommodate new features.

Defines code coverage by following Test Driven Development. Designs and

develops AngularJS and NodeJS components. Provides business solutions by

developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing

and developing Web-based trading applications within a financial services

environment; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education

equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,

Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and

one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience

designing and developing Web-based trading applications within a financial

services environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise

(“DE”) performing GUI design using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and

JavaScript; DE analyzing business requirements to develop Web-based online

financial applications using Java/J2EE; DE performing Test Driven

Development using testing frameworks (JUnit, Mocha, Selenium, Jasmine, and

Karma); building and managing applications using Eclipse, SCM, and

deployment tools (ClearCase, git stash, Jenkins and uDeploy); performing

front-end build process using Grunt and Gulp; and integrating the build

with CI and CD process using Jenkins as a CI platform; DE developing Web

applications according to design patterns, Test Driven Development (TDD)

process, and Agile methodologies.
