Job Description:

Duties: Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports scalable

enterprise-class applications in public or private cloud solutions,

including AWS. Maintains Linux-based virtual machines in test, staging, and

production environments. Develops continuous integration and deployment

tools and processes using uDeploy and Jenkins.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

• Facilitates technical discussions with solution oriented outcomes.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related

field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3)

years of experience developing and supporting software within a continuous

integration, deployment, and delivery environment; Or, alternatively, a

Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science,

Computer Applications, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year

of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience developing

and supporting software within a continuous integration, deployment, and

delivery environment. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise

(DE) performing DevOps engineering, automation, and enterprise level

platform automation activities using IBM UrbanCode Deploy to enable

continuous delivery within the enterprise; DE configuring continuous build

and test automation; scripting automated application deployment flows using

git stash, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, and Artifactory; scripting and developing

enterprise level platform automation using Ansible and Chef; and automating

administration functions using Shell, PERL, DOS/PowerShell, and Ruby on

Linux and Windows environments; DE supporting and maintaining, large-scale

enterprise systems in public cloud (AWS) or private cloud solutions using

Docker Container management technology; DE implementing complex application

and database driven automation releases with automated monitoring and

testing of disaster recovery and backup functions.
