Job Description:

Duties: Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports messaging platform

applications. Develops Web services in a scrum Agile environment using

Java/J2EE technologies. Implements scalable solutions and time-to-market-

enabling frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms.

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

• Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications

supporting several corporate initiatives.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis

for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of

experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience designing,

developing, and deploying APIs, Web applications, and technical project

marketing campaigns within a financial services environment; Or,

alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,

Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of

experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience designing,

developing, and deploying APIs, Web applications, and technical project

marketing campaigns within a financial services environment. Candidate must

also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) developing Spring Web services

(SOAP and RESTful) using JSON and XML formats; using Maven to perform

application build, deployment, and support; performing version control and

continuous integration of build, deploy, and test, using Jenkins, stash,

and uDeploy; and designing technical solutions using UML; DE performing

Java/J2EE Web development using Spring to create and consume APIs while

implementing intelligent internet application development for digital

measurement and personalization services, using JavaScript, Node.js,

Angular, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3, according to Agile (Scrum) methodologies

and standards; DE implementing containerized solutions using Docker; DE

designing and developing technical project marketing campaigns using IBM

campaign, database marketing, and SQL to deliver targeted communications to

customers.
