Job Description:
Duties: Leads cross-functional and cross-enterprise teams that
define requirements (business and technical), develops architecture specifications, assesses and selects vendors/products, pilots
new technology elements and process, develops enterprise-scale
deployment plans, and leads initial implementations. Works closely with
Security Architecture, Security Operations, Security Incident Response
teams along with internal cloud development teams and external cloud
providers on requirements, design, integration and delivery of IaaS and
PaaS solutions. Primary Responsibilities: • Leads engineering and implementation of new information
security tools, software, and processes associated with internal and
external Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service
(PaaS) cloud deployments. This includes specification and testing of
secure software builds (Hypervisor, OS, DB, Webserver) in collaboration
with Fidelity information technology teams. • Performs specification and testing of cloud-oriented
security configuration compliance monitoring solutions. • Conducts development, testing, and maintenance of
automation scripts and deployment tools to support rapid, repeatable
implementation of security controls in IaaS and PaaS clouds. • Performs development, testing and maintenance of data
protection and key management controls, malware defenses, intrusion
prevention, and data loss prevention controls in IaaS and PaaS clouds. • Builds relationships with clients and local security teams
to develop understanding of security needs, discuss appetite for
risk, and understand how new solutions impact risk posture. • Leads technical analysis and recommendations for vendor
security prodcuts. • Leads technical design and first instance deployment of
global projects including security solutions for internal and external
IaaS and PaaS clouds. • Produces high quality documentation (e.g. Architecture Specifications, System Requirements, Roadmaps, White Papers)
to accurately capture and communicate business drivers,
technical requirements, system design, RACI support model and future plans
and provide thought leadership at the enterprise level. • Reports on progress against plans and explains technical solutions to non-technical audiences. • Contributes to industry best practices forums, attends
industry conferences, and participates on committees. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or a
closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered
or six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and
implementing infrastructure solutions in a large enterprise environment;
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent)
in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, or a
closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job
offered or four (4) years of experience designing, developing, and
implementing infrastructure solutions in a large enterprise environment.
Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing AWS
cloud computing services for hosting financial service applications
which transmit, process, and store highly confidential company data
and customer PII data, including writing detailed design
specifications and architecture guidelines, and coaching individuals and teams on
these best practices [focused on securing IT services (compute/storage/messaging) and specification and integration
of security-related Platform as a Service (PaaS) service (Identity
and Access Management, Key Management & Encryption, and Logging/Monitoring)]; DE utilizing the AWS cloud computing
platform using the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or Platform as a
Service (PaaS) to build, run, and deploy multi-tier web applications,
and developing automations on IaaS or PaaS using IT automation tools
-- Ansible, Chef, or Puppet -- including developing and testing
automation scripts, code samples, and SDKs to orchestrate provisioning of
cloud applications, provisioning of security protections, automation
of penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning/reporting; DE
delivering and provisioning IaaS, including compute (virtual hardware),
network, and storage service, within the cloud in a continuous integration/deployment environment; DE in DevOps and
continuous integration/continuous delivery of cloud security solutions
