Job Description:

Duties: Develops data integration solutions, including development of

Web Services and traditional ETL. Develops data driven environments and

data and analytical models for the analysis of large scale data sets

using Java, Python, Informatica with Oracle RAC, and SQL server data

environments. Consolidates and delivers data centric project artifacts,

including data profile findings, data quality requirements, business

metadata (table/column), source to target mappings (data lineage

specifications), data transformation logic, and operational

requirements. Provides business solutions by developing complex or

multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going

development efforts.

• Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in

multiple platforms and ensure that the end to end designs meet the

business and data requirements

• Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several

divisional initiatives.

• Develops algorithmic data and analytic models to get data

insights.

• Designs and implements scalable, automated data integration

solutions

• Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to

implementation.

• Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance

testing.

• Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

• Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

• Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a

project.

• Performs independent and complex technical and functional

analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in

Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information

Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)

years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience

developing .NET and Java automated data integration solutions using Web

services and ETL; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign

education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information

Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely

related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one

(1) year of experience developing .NET and Java automated data

integration solutions using Web services and ETL.

Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing,

implementing, and tuning complex data warehouse solutions in Oracle and

SQL server environments; writing SQL queries, database triggers, stored

procedures, and packages using PL/SQL; performance tuning with TOAD and

SQL Developer, including source code management and version control

using git-stash; and performing PowerShell and UNIX shell scripting and

scheduling batch jobs; DE designing and developing automated data

integration solutions to extract data from REST-oriented APIs and

relational databases for data reporting and analysis using Java,

Informatica, PowerShell scripting, and PL/SQL; DE performing data

modeling and Web services development using Java and .NET frameworks;

natural language processing, including text parsing using Python; and

creating automated solutions using batch jobs with PowerShell, SQL

control files, and schedulers; DE designing and implementing reference

data management processes using Collibra, Informatica Metadata Manager,

and Data Quality, including source code management and version control

using DevOps tools Git stash and Jira.
