Job Description:

Responsible for the development and management of a recruiting department and strategy to support the talent attraction needs of the Messer Financial. Directs the development and implementation of leading edge business strategies to ensure the attraction, selection, and hiring of a workforce that represents a competitive advantage. Ensures strategies are directly aligned with strategic priorities and talent needs. Leads a recruiting team of approximately 10 people to support the successful recruitment. Responsible for the employment brand strategy, talent attraction systems strategy, assessment for selection strategy and compliance. Manages staff as well as personally managing executive recruitments. Partners across the Talent Strategy department to ensure effective linkages between talent verticals.

Develops and implements strategies to drive best-in-class recruitment.

Directs the implementation of talent attraction and selection initiatives.

Manages and shepherds a strategic sourcing strategy, channel and process.

Develop tools and delivery mechanisms to drive an enterprise-wide recruiting culture. All employees are talent brand ambassadors.

Guides the talent attraction team to build, develop and manage a network/database of talent utilizing and leveraging innovative tools and techniques including Social Media strategies and resources.

Design and implement proactive external candidate recruitment programs and processes that attract a qualified and diverse workforce.

Leads the talent attraction team in development of customer focused recruitment strategies.

Develops, reports and continually improves attraction metrics to drive team performance and business outcomes.

Enhances the service offerings of the talent attraction team.

Assists in the development of training plans for hiring managers regarding all aspects of the recruitment process to ensure consistency and legal compliance.

Enhances recruiter/hiring managers relationships to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Keeps recruitment team abreast of industry trends and best practices by facilitating developmental opportunities.

Responsible for the development, execution and adherence of the talent attraction budget.

Manages vendor relationships and contracts for talent attraction

Identifies process improvement opportunities and provides innovative solutions.

Seeks development and networking opportunities to increase knowledge base and improve outcomes.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and at least ten years of proven recruitment experience with a minimum of seven years experience managing a recruiting team. Advanced degree or certification in Human Resources or related business field preferred.

10 years recruitment and 7+ years recruitment management experience in a corporate environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities, with emphasis on customer service.

Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.

Strong attention to detail with excellent follow through.

Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Excellent judgment and ability to successfully perform under limited supervision.

Proven ability to manage confidential information and material.

Must be innovative leader, with the ability to successfully manage projects and staff. Strong computer skills, including internet research ability.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Travel required up to 20%
