Reporting to the Vice President, Mergers& Acquisitions
Integrations, the Director of Integration Program is the program
lead for individual acquisition integration programs. This person
is responsible for creating the end-to-end integration plan and
financial model for successful integration of each deal.
Subsequently, responsible for successfully executing the plan,
directing all work-streams associated with the integration
playbook, including tracking actuals, identifying sources of
variance, resolving issues, mitigating risks to achieve successful
integration. Communicates and coordinates with internal Messer
Financial teams, managing expectations via OLAs, third party
vendors through SLAs and designated seller representatives to
complete all integration tasks. Through measurement and monitoring
of key metrics, identifies ways to continually improve the
integration process. This role does not have any direct reports,
though will be responsible for managing contractors, IT teams and
regional relationships. Basic Qualifications: Technology professional with over 2 years of experience with
integrating new acquisitions into a buyer company, familiar with
the M&A process steps, due diligence evaluation, estimation and
integration execution. Minimum 10 years of experience in project-based process and
technology delivery roles. Minimum 3 years of key leadership experience, in a matrixed
environment, designing and delivering complex people, technology,
and process integration programs to provide new business value. Several years consulting experience with client-facing
leadership responsibilities. Experience with continuous improvement, metrics-based
methodologies, managing schedule, scope, issues and risks, and
actively evaluating for opportunities to improve. Strong financial acumen, able to create fact-based financial
estimates, and subsequently measure performance against estimate,
identify variance, and proactively address issues to keep within
budget. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with setting
stakeholder expectations, seeking and receiving feedback and
improving stakeholder satisfaction. Organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to
handle multiple integration programs and priorities concurrently.
Has experience delivering multiple (6 or more) complex initiatives
cncurrently Desired Qualifications: Insurance, brokerage and/or financial services industry
experience, particularly with highly acquisitive M&A
Integration activity. Experience with infrastructure implementations; familiar with
distributed network architecture, VoIP telecom, data center moves,
and desktop computing. Vendor management, contract management& negotiations
experience LEAN 6 sigma experience, Green Belt or Black Belt
certification Bilingual in English and Canadian French and / or Spanish. Role Description & Responsibilities: The Director of Integration Program: Is the single point of contact for IT M&A Integration for a
specific M&A deal. Establishes and maintains relationships with business
integration stakeholders, regional M&A stakeholders, key seller
resources and vendors, and Messer Financial corporate IT and
vendors. Is an energetic leader who is comfortable working elegantly with
owner-operators to integrate them seamlessly into Messer
Financial's infrastructure resulting in acquistion synergies and
revenue lift for the business. Creates the complete IT M&A Integration plan, communicates
plan and expectations to all stakeholders and IT delivery team. Creates financial estimates, tracks actuals, identifies sources
of variance, and takes action to correct and keep costs within
budget. Leads internal findings review with M&A Technology Analysis
team, and makes requests for additional analyst services (security,
network, application) as needed. Identifies and measures key metrics with business stakeholders,
and ensures business goals for integration are able to be met.
Quickly respond to stakeholder requests while also driving the
project to completion. Works with Technology Delivery teams to execute Integration
program plan, identifying and resolving issues and mitigating risks
to deliver integration per original baseline schedule. Continually identifies improvements in parallel with delivery,
finding ways to improve process, reduce duration, reduce cost,
reduce risk, and improve quality. Role Success Measures: The Director of Integration Program will be measured on how
accurately the Integration Program is delivered against initial
estimates: approach, budgetary and timeline. S/he will also be measured on stakeholder satisfaction,
specifically did the integration experience meet expectations;
including how well s/he collaborated across the Messer Financial
