Our team does the work of creating enjoyable entertainment for clients, so they can participate in the fun.Job DescriptionTHE ROLEWe are seeking an Event Production Accountant to provide financial support and analysis of B-Weiss Entertainment Group's business. This includes working closely with our event production team and project managers to establish event budgets, track performance in real-time and close out event income statements to assess profitability.RESPONSIBILITIESOversees accounting activities of all financial accounting and reporting for B-Weiss Entertainment Group, but not limited to the following responsibilities:Manage all aspects of project accounting: developing and maintaining budgets, cash flow, cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis and development of final estimated costManage the daily financial activities of all projects along with the production and operations teamsSubmit monthly updated event financial and operational forecasts, including variance analysisProcess accounts payable: review, post and pay all vendor invoices while ensuring proper project tracking and expense coding for all invoicesPrepare estimates and accounts receivable invoices for projectsOversee collections, cash posting and preparation of bank depositsPrepare bank and general ledger account reconciliationsPrepare and enter journal entries as needed (reclasses/accruals/cost allocation)Process monthly sales & use tax returnsAssist with payroll processingPeriodic travel is requiredQualificationsBachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance4+ years of proven project or cost accounting experience required, Entertainment Industry preferredBe a self-motivated individual who possesses a "roll up the sleeves attitude"-- - and a "hands-on"-- - style, as well as the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, results- oriented environmentDemonstrate the highest level of personal ethics and professional integritySKILLS (REQUIRED)Proven experience working with QuickBooks OnlineProven MS Excel skills; intermediate preferred (v-lookups, pivot tables, IF formulas, data validation, reconciling, etc.)Additional InformationWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlinesB-Weiss Entertainment Group Offers:A positive environment with the ability to work in an exciting and unique businessPaid Vacation & Sick timeHealth BenefitsOpportunity to grow and develop event skillsAccess to tons of events...for FREE!
