Job Description

Supervisor .
Job Summary:
The SOX Compliance Supervisor assists the Director, SOX Compliance
in executing all aspects of the SOX compliance program and is
responsible for guiding management in maintaining effective
internal control over financial reporting ("ICFR").
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the SOX testing team and perform quality review of the
testing documentation
Develop and execute SOX control testing procedures and maintain SOX
risk control matrices, process documents, and testing templates
Perform process walkthroughs to identify, validate, and document
significant classes of transactions, financial reporting risks, and
key/non-key SOX controls
Design and implement SOX controls to properly mitigate financial
reporting risks associated with new entities, new lines of
business, and system implementations
Support management in developing action plans to remediate control
deficiencies
Assist with the SOX scoping analysis and risk assessment
Assist with the preparation of the periodic SOX reporting packages
for senior management
Coordinate and analyze periodic process and control owners
sub-certifications
Manage and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of
management, consultants, and external auditors
Provide SOX training to financial and non-financial personnel
Support the business with ad hoc projects as required Minimum
Qualifications:
4+ years of recent audit/internal control experience from national
accounting firms or large public companies, including experience of
supervising audit engagement team or SOX testing team
Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and COSO framework
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Administration
CPA/CIA certification
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with all
levels of management and auditors
Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP,
PeopleSoft)
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as
in a team environment
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio) Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with financial statements audit
Experience with audit analytic software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
Experience with IT general controls and IT system
implementations
Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively
manage multiple tasks Professional Skills:

Strong leadership/management skills with the ability to influence
