Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:30am - 6:30pm EST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal partners and/or external customers/payers to resolve customer issues.
  • Investigate, resolve billing and accounts receivable issues and balances
  • Reconcile discrepancies identified within customer invoices/billing and reports
  • Demonstrate and maintain understanding of state and federal regulatory requirements as they apply to billing operations
  • Demonstrate and maintain understanding of and comply with billing policies and procedures
  • Analyze reports against existing billing data and make appropriate changes to ensure billing accuracy
  • Generate, format distribute/ upload reports and documentation
  • Work with customers and third-party administrators to resolve escalated Accounts Receivable issues.
  • Assist in updating standard procedure documents (SOPs/job aids) pertaining to billing and enrollment reconciliation receivable functions.
  • Acts as a technical resource to others in own function. What makes this a special challenge? For one, we want to create a quality experience for every person we serve.     • High school diploma / GED--(or higher)
    • 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience (experience working with excel)
    • 1+ years of working in a productive environment with proven ability to meet goalsPreferred Qualifications:
      • 1+ years billing experience
      • 1+ years of COSMOS, UNET/CDB, AR:M, PeopleSoft Financials, and BRMS--Soft Skills:
        • Attention to detail
        • Organizational skills
        • Problem-solving skills
        • Written and oral communication skills
        • Ability to work in a face paced collaborative
