Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:


General Accounting Support:

Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain financial records and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.



Financial Reporting:

Generate financial reports and statements on a regular basis.
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and budgets.



Payroll and Expense Management:

Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Verify and process employee expense reports, adhering to company policies.
Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records related to compensation and benefits.



Auditing and Compliance:

Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
Help identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as directed.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with various departments to obtain necessary financial information and resolve inquiries.
Work closely with team members to accomplish shared goals and objectives.
