Wholesale Control organization The Wholesale Control organization sits within Wholesale Banking and operates as front-line risk management. The mandate of the Wholesale Control organization is to identify risks, design and implement controls, and execute and monitor the controls to ensure they are working effectively to manage risk for Wholesale Banking businesses and customers. This will create an integrated holistic view of risk for Wholesale Banking by aggregating risks across risk types and lines of business. The Wholesale Control organization is comprised of the following functions: Line of Business Control groups Risk Control groups Governance & Programs Analytics, Reporting, & Administration Control Strategy & Transformation These functions partner and engage with the Wholesale lines of business, our Independent Risk Management organization, Wells Fargo Compliance and Wells Fargo Audit Services to advocate and ensure alignment in scope, purpose, expectations, and execution of the Wholesale Control programs and operations. Analytics, Reporting, & Administration team The Analytics, Reporting, & Administration (ARA) team within Wholesale Control acts as a center of excellence to drive consistency and standardization across business enablement and infrastructure functions. In this role the ARA team provides leadership and guidance for Wholesale Control business functions including: risk data analytics, management reporting, infrastructure support, resource management, real estate management, finance support, expense management, team member development and awareness, business engagement, communications, risk governance, and initiative administration. The ARA team is the single point of contact with key partners across Wholesale and the Enterprise and ensures Wholesale Control business functions are aligned with corporate policies and programs. The Functional Communication & Collaboration team within ARA is responsible for the centralized design, development, implementation and administration of the SharePoint collaboration and portal environments; the content and document management solution (IBM FileNet and IBM Content Navigator); the functional communication plan, strategy and mechanisms for Wholesale Control; business management reporting and the Associate Program operations. This role is responsible for providing strategic business solutions to organizational-wide document management solution initiatives. They will act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of the most complex, strategic, corporate-wide business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing document management solutions and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change positon Wells Fargo for the future. Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Participates in transforming strategic architecture and design principles in specific system requirements and specifications. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Acts as the highest-level internal consultant within technology and business groups by re-engineering technical processes for greater efficiencies with significant impact to the business. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff. Specific responsibilities include: Design, development, implementation and support of a custom IBM FileNet content management and imaging solution. Evaluate and merge several legacy repositories onto a single FileNet content management repository to standardize the records management and archival portfolio. Provide estimates, functional requirements, use cases and project approach models for project stakeholders. Facilitate end-user focus group sessions, as well as requirements gathering and management. Maintain the business requirements matrix and business requirements document, along with project documentation, following the Wells Fargo project methodology. Administration of the existing FileNet environments. Partner with the technology support team for the creation and configuration of additional FileNet environments for the various business groups. Create and maintain FileNet program specifications, system/network related diagrams, how-to and other support documents (e.g. high level function design document, FileNet specification in-take document, interface specification document. Oversee and/or perform the migration of documentation from the business legacy document management repository to FileNet. This includes the development of a detailed data migration plan, coordinating and testing the data extraction for the legacy repository, oversight of transformation and cleansing activities, support of data load, and completion of testing activities. Project Management practices including leading projects and project meetings; including delivery of project status updates, financial forecasting or cost models. Serve as a subject-matter-expert for the business team responsible for environment governance and assisting other organizations with onboarding to the shared FileNet environment. Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.
