Job Description:
About the Role: As a MarTech Developer, you will be a key member
of the Allant team with the opportunity to work with a variety of
industry leading platforms. This role is responsible for supporting
the team in the implementation, configuration, and execution of
leading marketing automation platforms. In addition, the role is
expected to engage in technical/marketing conversations to
troubleshoot campaign, marketing platform, and data issues as well
development of creative solutions to achieve business objectives.
This includes collaborating on projects from inception to launch,
having a solid understanding of requirements and approach to
implementation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: --- Understand
marketing automation platform components and related modules to
estimate and develop realistic solutions. --- Basic understanding
of audience segmentation and activation on a variety of different
channels. --- Collaborate with project team to define client
requirements and acceptance criteria ensuring a successful project
implementation. --- Designs and configures the appropriate
marketing technology solutions so that requirements are met and
client expectations regarding marketing platform use cases and
functionality are fulfilled. --- Supports the internal, cross
functional teams to ensure optimal client service as it relates to
solution performance, functionality, enhancements, and
configuration. --- Ensures that all client users receive proper
knowledge transfer in a timely fashion. --- Maintains accurate and
timely documentation of implementation steps and activities for
internal and external partners. --- Ensures each task progress is
reported and forecasted accurately to all internal and external
stakeholders. --- Ensures that all project/program risks, issues
and change requests are managed or escalated effectively within the
project team. --- Completes the design and development of the
marketing solution in alignment with direction set by a Solution
Architect. --- Ensures that every client derives the most value
possible from the implementation experience. --- Consistently
strives for quality and excellence in all aspects of delivery. ---
Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate solution
implementations to both technical and business stakeholders. ---
Continuous learning of latest marketing platforms features and
capabilities, maintains awareness of future capabilities, known
issues and deprecations.Role Qualifications: --- Experience
developing automation programs or procedures in one of the
following scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Linux Shell, or
Powershell. --- Experience testing REST API's using a programming
language or a tool such as Postman. --- Experience using Windows,
Linux, or MacOS terminal applications. --- Experience with file
transfer tools used to move data to Amazon S3 or SFTP endpoints.
--- Experience creating and testing complex SQL using a database
management tool such as DBeaver, SQL Manager, TOAD, DbVisualizer,
etc. --- Solid understanding of relational database concepts ---
Experience administering or implementing solutions on one or more
of the following marketing platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud,
Unica Campaign, Adobe Campaign, Upland/BlueVenn Engage, Acoustic
Campaign --- Possess an understanding of core web technologies,
including HTML, CSS, Javascript. --- Understanding of tag
management --- Experience using inspection and debugging tools for
JavaScript, Tags, data layers, stored cookies, logical errors,
unhandled exceptions, etc. --- Experience working with source
version control systems such as GIT or SVNPreferred Qualifications:
--- Certifications across any of the following: Adobe Marketing
Cloud, Unica, Salesforce Marketing Cloud --- Experience working
with optimization platforms such as Adobe Target, Salesforce
Interaction Studio, Optimizely Intelligence Cloud --- Experience
working with tag management systems such as Tealium IQ, Adobe
Launch, GTMEducation/Experience: --- Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Business or Information Systems; or a minimum of three
years of relevant work experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience. --- 3+ years of marketing
experience, as part of either a marketing services provider or
internal marketing organization.Some domestic travel may be
required.
