Position Summary The Greenskeeper is an entry level position responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course. This role focuses on hands on turf care, landscape maintenance, and general grounds work under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough using walking and riding equipment • Perform trimming, edging, raking bunkers, and debris removal • Assist with cup changing, course setup, and tournament preparation • Help with irrigation tasks including hand watering, moving sprinklers, and basic repairs • Apply fertilizers, sand, seed, and other materials as directed • Maintain cart paths, landscaping, and common areas • Operate small equipment such as blowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles safely • Follow all safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines • Maintain a clean and organized work environment • Assist with special projects and repairs as assigned Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team • Prior golf course or landscape experience is helpful but not required Benefits • Medical, mental health, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance • Accident and critical illness insurance • Pet insurance • Paid time off • 401(k) plan with company match • Holiday pay • Food and beverage discounts throughout portfolio • Golf and tennis benefits • Employee assistance program Opportunities for Growth • On the job training in turfgrass management practices • Exposure to golf course equipment and maintenance programs • Potential advancement to Equipment Operator or Assistant roles based on performance Arcis Golf provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
