Job Description:
Job Responsibilities: A growing construction and building
maintenance organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager
to support operational leadership and ensure the successful
delivery of construction projects. This role plays a key part in
driving production goals, leading field teams, and maintaining high
standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The Project
Manager oversees multiple active projects and is responsible for
ensuring each project performs on schedule, within budget, and
according to scope. This includes developing construction budgets,
preparing schedules, and implementing quality and safety controls
that guide field execution. This role works closely with
superintendents and field crews to coordinate day-to-day
operations. The Project Manager will determine material,
subcontractor, and labor requirements while supporting field
leadership in resolving complex construction challenges, code
compliance matters, and subcontractor coordination issues.
Leadership is a major component of this position. The Project
Manager supervises and mentors team members, holds direct reports
accountable for performance, and promotes a culture focused on
safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Routine safety
and quality inspections are conducted to ensure company standards
and jobsite safety programs are consistently followed. The Project
Manager also serves as a key point of contact for clients and
stakeholders. This includes addressing inquiries, resolving
concerns, and maintaining strong relationships that support a
positive customer experience. The role requires identifying
opportunities for cost savings, managing risk, and helping improve
overall project profitability. Additional responsibilities include
providing updates to operational leadership regarding project
progress, addressing staffing or operational concerns,
participating in emergency on-call rotations, and supporting
operational processes and equipment management when needed.
Requirements: 5 years of experience in multi-family restoration or
construction Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with
values ranging from approximately $500K to $4M Strong knowledge of
construction processes, cost control, and risk management
Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and project
schedules Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with
construction management software such as Procore preferred Strong
leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Excellent
organizational and time management skills with the ability to
manage multiple deadlines Ability to build and maintain strong
relationships with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients High
attention to detail and strong decision-making skills Ability to
work on-site in office and field environments as needed Willingness
to travel and work overtime when required to support the
project
