The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees on Jan. 28 adopted three calendars for the next two school years, with the majority of schools set to have a traditional calendar. Click the appropriate calendar below to see your campuses schedule for the 2 School Year:* Base Calendar* Intersession Calendar* School Day Redesign 1* School Day Redesign 2* Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in student learning styles.* Provide a variety of planned learning experiences integrating different learning methods in order to motivate and inspire students.* Develop lessons with district mission in mind, aligned to district and state instructional goals and objectives and subject area.* Maintain a classroom environment that promotes safe, effective learning.* Plan, prepare and deliver instructional tasks for virtual learning* Demonstrated skills in the use of technology to enhance student learning.* Continuously engage with students, parents, and community members to advance student outcomes.* Establish and implement effective classroom management procedures.* Create systems to monitor and assess student learning.* Collaborate with professional staff to identify and address student needs regarding health and learning styles.* Be available for counseling with students and parents before and after school.* Plan and coordinate the work of aides and other paraprofessionals and student teachers (when applicable).* Keep accurate records of student information; compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required by the school and district.* Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, Board of Trustees' policies, and administrative regulations.* Participate in required and ongoing professional learning* Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.* Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this positionWORK ENVIRONMENT:The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job. A remote working environment/alternate work arrangement is not an option for campus-based employees/campus-based positions because regular and punctual attendance at the worksite and performing all duties at the worksite are essential job duties for all campus-based personnel.* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university* Valid Texas teacher certificate or in progress with required endorsements for subject* Demonstrated proficiency in subject area/language curriculum* Ability to effectively work with a diverse group of students* Advanced Low proficiency in German reading and writing required* Demonstrated flexibility to cope with the challenges of a rapidly changing world.* Demonstrated willingness to remain current with the latest developments in the profession.* Demonstrated knowledge of virtual instruction* Maintain a strong instructional focus utilizing the elements of effective technology-based instruction
