Job Description:
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department
of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is
seeking a faculty member specializing in thoracic oncology.
Applicant must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved
LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal
Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program.
Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board
certified in Internal Medicine. Board certification in
Hematology/Oncology is preferred. This position will provide
clinical care in the Parkland Health and Hospital System. The ideal
candidate will actively contribute to existing clinical research
opportunities and teaching of UTSW students, house staff and
hematology/oncology fellows. Appointment rank will be commensurate
with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be
given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. To
