Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available in the Dallas, TX area, supporting two middle and high
schools within a growing school district. This role offers an
opportunity to work onsite, providing essential speech therapy
services to students with diverse communication needs.
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology services to
students under a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule, with part-time
possibilities. Manage caseloads of 65 to 85 students, assessing,
diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication
disorders. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and
monitor student progress. Maintain documentation and ensure
compliance with district policies and state regulations.
Qualifications: Active state license in speech-language pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; clinical
fellows can be considered only if supervision arrangements are
established prior to start date (district does not provide
supervision). Experience working in school settings strongly
preferred. Ability to commute to specific school sites in the
Lewisville/Dallas area. Location: Positions available at two onsite
schools in Lewisville, TX: one at a middle school with a 65-student
caseload, and one at a high school with an 85-student caseload.
