We are looking for Senior Solution Engineers to join our team to build and deliver on our technology products and solutions.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:Analyze, architect, design, and develop software solutions for our clients and for Point BLead and advise clients on the planning, delivery, and management of innovative technology initiativesDesign and build technology products and solutions that enable Point B to serve customers at scaleCollaborate with Point B's service and market teams to identify opportunities to design and deliver technology capabilities and offeringsTeach software development techniques and practices to other team members, and provide ongoing coachingStay on top of emerging technology trends, and methodologiesWHAT WE OFFER:The opportunity to be part of building a growing practice area within Point BThe support of a well-established consulting firm and access to a rich networkThe opportunity to build and be part of a fun and collaborative culture with teams that are as passionate about their communities as they are about their clientsWHAT WE EXPECT YOU'VE ALREADY DONE:Proven yourself as a subject matter expert with 8+ years of experience developing software solutions for business users, including all aspects of the software development lifecycleStrong knowledge and practical experience with designing, building, deploying, and maintaining business applications in the AWS Cloud. Experience working with containers, elastic compute, cloud storage, notifications and other cloud servicesStrong software development skills and API development using Python or comparable languagesDemonstrated experience architecting and developing software for data lifecycle and data architecture on SQL and NoSQL data platformsThorough understanding of data analysis, data visualizations, ML, and system architecturesPractical experience working within CI/CD frameworks for building and deploying applicationsServes as a client's expert leader through all phases of a project. Operates effectively with senior leaders at our clientsBuilds and manages stakeholder relationships, including business customers, partners, users, project and program team members, and management leaders.Communicates clearly and proactively to project team and client stakeholdersDevelops and manages program/project structures, schedules, budgets, resource plans, etc.Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies, and recommends key decisions for projects.Provides oversight to other team members for project workEarned a B.A. or B.S. degree in a quantitative subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, sciences, economics, etc.)Available to work remotely and travel up to 20% or as neededTHE KIND OF PEOPLE WE LOOK FOR:Versatile consultants who thrive on variety and challengeProven leaders with a strong growth track record and mindsetInnate problem solvers who want to grow in a flexible, collaborative cultureEngaging technologist who make a positive impact on their firm, clients, and communitiesCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:The estimated salary range for this role is $113,000 - $187,000 USD per year.This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable.Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.
