Brief Overview of PositionAt Texas Capital Bank, we're passionate

engineers to empower our users with a rich feature set, high
availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their
missions. As we expand our customer deployments, we're in search of
a Cloud Engineer who can seamlessly mesh tech know-how with
business acumen to help us navigate all our cloud computing needs,
including infrastructure design, maintenance, support and planning.
Not only are you experienced in cloud-based tech, but you have a
firm grasp of LaaS technologies, platforms and applications, and
have intimate knowledge of how to most effectively customize these
attributes to our business. Not only can you help us connect the
dots and evolve our cloud capabilities over time, but you're also
evolving your own capabilities as an engineer and keeping an eye on
developments that can support our expansion-and help us implement
those, too.Objectives of this RoleWork in tandem with our
engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal
cloud-based solutions for the companyDefine and document best
practices and strategies regarding application deployment and
infrastructure maintenanceProvide guidance, thought leadership, and
mentorship to development teams to build cloud competenciesEnsure
application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high
standards of code quality and thoughtful designManaging cloud
environments in accordance with company security guidelinesDaily
and Monthly ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement technical efforts
to design, build, and deploy AWS/Azure applications at the
direction of lead architects, including large-scale data
processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and
advanced analyticsParticipate in all aspects of the software
development life cycle for AWS/Azure solutions, including planning,
requirements, development, testing, and quality
assuranceTroubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and
document problems, and implement preventive measuresEducate teams
on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing
associated training as requiredEmploy exceptional problem-solving
skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect
business productivityThe duties listed above are the essential

standard departmental policy. Required Skills and
QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, information
technology, or mathematics3+ years' experience in
developing/Supporting software using languages such as Java
scripts, Python, BASH, Terraform, Ansible Proven experience in
CICD, Pipelines development and deployment, GitHub/Jenkins
workflowMust have Hands-on experience on managing Microservices
environment like Kubernetes clusters (EKS or AKS), ECS, Serverless
lambda, Helm charts, Service MeshExperience with SOA applications
and cloud-based services, preferably AWS.Experience working with
AWS, Linux/UNIX, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.Three to five years'
experience in a Cloud Engineer role or related position.Knowledge
of web services, API, API Gateway, Nginx, REST and RPC.Strong
awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP,
DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks. Understanding of and
experience with the five pillars of a well-architected
frameworksBuild and configure new capabilities in cloud to enhance
cloud adoptions and digital transformation for the
organization.Experience in several of the following areas: database
architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine
learning, advanced analytics Preferred QualificationsAWS/Azure
certifications are a plusKnowledge of Nginx web services, API,
