The CBRE's Design practice, is currently seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer for the Dallas, TX location. CBRE's Design practice has an opportunity for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our in Dallas office. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to work on complex mechanical building systems for large commercial, public and industrial projects. What you'll do

  • Prepares mechanical designs and perform calculations in support of large commercial and industrial projects - both renovation and new construction.
  • Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Assist the Senior Engineer with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Prepares scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
  • Assists Senior Engineer with construction administration duties and conducting periodic on-site observation of work during construction to supervise compliance with plans.
  • Advises integration of technical activities and products including the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals, studies and reports.

    What you'll need
    • Bachelor's Degree or master's degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience required.
    • PE License
    • Experience with Revit is strongly preferred
