This crucial role aims to ensure high availability and robust connectivity across our network, supporting the company's operational needs and strategic goals.Key responsibilities of the role include:Being the in-house subject matter expert on AWS NetworkingDesigning scalable, reliable, and secure network architectures within the AWS ecosystemCollaborating with security teams to enforce network security measures and ensure compliance with internal policiesCollaborating with consumer teams to design and develop network patterns based on application requirementsAutomating network deployments and operations using scripting languages, such as Python, and infrastructure as code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and TerraformRegularly assessing network performance, address bottlenecks, and provide solutions for network optimizationDeveloping and maintaining disaster recovery strategies and participating in regular DR testing to ensure a rapid response to network outages and failuresMonitoring network costs and implementing cost-saving measures where possible to optimize spendingStaying informed about AWS networking updates and service offerings, reporting back recommendations to stakeholdersYou will be part of an exciting and challenging work environment, working with some of the best engineers in the industry.
