Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes and systems Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Evaluate and approve new suppliers through robust qualification processes Analyze supplier performance metrics and lead initiatives for improvement Participate in product development projects using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) methodologies Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA regulations, and 21 CFR part 820 Utilize tools such as Lean Six Sigma for process improvement Work with cross-functional teams to integrate quality considerations into product design and development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or similar role in the medical device industry Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA, 21 CFR part 820) Experience with supplier corrective actions, SCAR, and CAPA processes Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies Experience with APQP, PPAP, and product lifecycle management tools like Arena PLM Proficient in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Benefits 401K with match Bonus Health, Dental, Vision, LTD, and HSA 3 weeks PTO 11 holidays - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
