How you'll make a difference:

As a key financial liaison lead on North America FP&A - COE, you will partner with the various departments across the North America business units. You will be responsible for coordinating with North America Shared Service leaders and business unit leadership to ensure support and quality service delivery for the businesses. You will work closely with a team to drive results and improve efficiencies. This requires innovative mindset and will lead the function to implement new ways of execution and delivering results.

You will support multiple businesses units across locations; strong communication skills will be necessary to support internal customers. You will be challenged to seek, propose, and drive process improvements across its areas of responsibilities.


  • Provide governance and strategy for the North America Capital Spend, partnering closely with the global and cross-functional business unit finance & operation teams, McKesson Technology and related groups.
  • Lead the design and execute the reporting and analytics for the North America Capital Expense FP&A process and management reporting.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting and modeling KPIs.
  • Drive Financial Reporting


    • Direct and supervise two analysts that will be performing the month-to-month financial reporting including research, explanation and resolution of monthly variance
    • Direct and manage reporting baseline packages: Close report, CFO month end package, monthly cash trends and audit schedules
    • Ad-hoc analysis that explains business changes.
    • Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance of key business stakeholders.
    • Drive Knowledge Transfers


      • Direct and manage the knowledge transfers that will be transferring to NASS FP&PA
      • Supervise and review two analysts with the execution of knowledge transfers & standard process procedure documentations
      • Drive standardized reporting across the business unit


        • Identify opportunities to standardize reporting across businesses
        • Develop and maintain working relationships with Finance professionals across business units and NA FSS
        • Complete ad-hoc and special projects as requested by senior leadership

          What you will bring to the table:

          • 6+ years of FP&A experience
          • 4+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation
          • Hands-on experience and understanding of highly complex and diverse financial planning systems and managing multiple data warehouse relationships
          • Experience with building new process or improving existing FP&A processes. Ability to understand key requirements across various businesses, current state and long term need for the company to build a high performing FP&A organization across McKesson
          • Experience with Capital Spend target setting, forecasting and long-range planning at a publicly traded company
          • Experience with various Financial Planning systems such as BPC, HP, TM1, and HFM
          • Strong system skills with Consolidation, Planning and Reporting systems and related infrastructure
          • Solid experience with data conversions and data mapping across multiple ERPs and FP&A/Reporting systems
          • Ability to identify opportunities, resolve challenges and drive action in collaboration with internal/external cross-functional teams
          • Collaborative and consultative skills to translate and bridge business requirements to IT systems developers
          • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or systems
