Lessen is on an amazing trajectory - we are well-funded by top Silicon Valley VCs, have committed clients, fast-growing revenue, and a well-defined roadmap.POSITION SUMMARYWe are currently looking for an experienced Director of Turns Construction to lead the Texas market. This is an opportunity to work with a group of professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team atmosphere. This role will entail attracting, retaining and developing Field Project Managers and Senior Field Project Managers inside an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in either Multifamily and/or Single-Family turn project management experience at a regional level. They will be well versed in mentoring and managing project managers on how to effectively meet client KPI's on both the single-family and multifamily rental construction projects.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Improve profitability of turn services through process refinement
  • Leads and directs the work of senior project managers, project managers and field employees across multiple job sites
  • Allocate and manage resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to optimize production output with respect to safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Oversee the scheduling, and training of staff and crews
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production goals
  • Recruit and interview candidates for positions
  • Train, supervise and appraise employees
  • Participate in company meetings and provide recommendations on how to improve our operations
  • Act as a site safety leader, ensuring compliance with all OSHA and company required training and safe work practices
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process
  • Development and implement new policies and procedures as needed
  • Contribute towards the achievement of company's strategic and operational objectivesQUALIFICATIONS
    • 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role for a national multi-family operator, large single family residential property management company, or national general contractor working on single family or multi-family projects
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities and deliver results in a demanding work environment
    • General knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Budget development and oversight experience
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
    • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
    • Strong computer skills (Databases, MS Office, etc.)
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
    • Leadership and organizational skills
    • Able to lift-up to 50Ibs as needed
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the timeEducation
      • High school or equivalent (Required)
