Quality -Project Manager - Construction Contract Administration

OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Project Manager specializing in Construction Contract Administration to provide quality partnership for the SLR Design-Build Team to satisfy the project goals with regards to the scheduled completion, quality, and profitability, thus ensuring a project that meets SLR expectations. -The Project Manager will have multiple project responsibilities and will report to the Quality Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the Quality Director
Duties and Responsibilities: -
Administer the contract for construction for several projects in the Arizona market.
Collaborate with Design team and Architect of Record to respond to RFIs, Submittals, and request for substitution documents.
Process RFIs, Submittals, change orders, and supplemental instructions, verifying architectural and engineering plans, specifications and SLR program requirements.
Attend OAC meetings and generate monthly Field Reports
Review Pre-construction documentation provided by the Construction team.
Review project schedules and budgets and maintain project documentation.
Accumulate, evaluate, and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents and CA processes.
Make substantial completion inspections/determination and review close-out documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
- - - - - - - - -Education: College degree within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management industry.
- - - - - - - - -Experience: -5-15 years within the multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality industry with experience in both wood-frame construction and concrete construction.
- - - - - - - - -Possess strong communication and organizational skills. A team player who possesses a positive attitude, -strong work ethic, and a high level of professionalism, who can handle multiple project assignments.
- - - - - - - - -Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- - - - - - - - -Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel. AutoCAD and/or Revit.
