Job Description:
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an office manager for a
fast-growing law firm who will be working directly with the Law
Firm Principals/Owners to oversee the administrative, basic
accounting, business, and HR aspects of the firm. The role's main
objective is to facilitate smooth operation within the company so
everyone can effectively concentrate on their own tasks, maximize
the firm's productivity and create a culture of belonging,
welcoming, and pride.Compensation:$45,000 - $52,000
yearlyResponsibilities:
- Core HR management: recruitment, employee onboarding,
performance management, employee engagement, employment law
compliance, employee relations, and talent attraction
- Manages office maintenance, suppliers, materials, and other
administrative tasks
- Create and enforce policies and procedures
- Participate and create a budget for office operation for office
supplies, gatherings, recruitment, vendor costs and others related
to the operation.
- Purchases routine office supplies within the budgeted
amount
- Manages vendors, including but not limited to IT services,
insurance providers, payroll services, bookkeeping, landlords, and
others;
- Make sure the cost of operation is maintained at a low level to
maximize profit
- Arranges for back-up and provides back-up (if needed) when
support employees are absent
- Participates in drafting evaluations of support staff and makes
substantive recommendations to the owner regarding work
assignments, promotions, discipline, terminations, etc.
- Oversees the Firm's records retention and information storage
and retrieval
- Administer computer backup systems
- Assist with administering payroll (verifying work hours, leave
time, overtime, paid time off)
- Coordinate and organize events
- Responsible for expense control, payments, and relationship
with suppliersQualifications:
- Assertive communication
- Thorough planning
- A friendly and helpful character
- Emotional intelligence
- A Bachelor's degree, such as administration, or
business-related field, English speaker, and Korean speaking is a
plus, but not necessary, organization, and planning skills,
knowledge of computer programs such as spreadsheets, Microsoft
Office, Teams, Quickbooks, Trainual
- Candidates with legal secretarial experience, supervisory
experience, and experience working in an office, preferably a law
