Partner Marketing Manager
American Direct is a direct response marketing agency with 40 years
of experience working with national brands. One area of our
expertise is partner marketing (aka affinity marketing). Partner
marketing is a marketing concept that consists of a partnership
between a company and an organization whose members share a common
interest. This partnership brings a membership base to the
company's service or product.
This position sits within a cross-functional team at American
Direct which is tasked with advancing strategic initiatives for the
organization. Being self-disciplined and self-motivated is a "must"
if you are to be successful.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to collaborate with
national airlines, hotel groups, and major U.S. brands to unlock
value for all parties.
Your Primary Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for managing American Direct's
current airline, hotel, and membership partners. This involves, but
is not limited to:
Being the point of contact for the day-to-day operations of the
Developing and executing strategies to increase marketing
engagement in our partnership programs.
Communicating effectively with internal teams (Account Executives,
Account Service Reps, Creative Services, IT, etc.)
Monitoring and reporting on month-over-month performance of our
Developing and giving presentations both internally and
Identifying net new growth opportunities for our partners.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for and judged by the growth
you generate for our partners by executing your well-crafted
strategy. Your success will be readily discernable to the executive
team at American Direct.
What You Need to be Successful
A proven history of account management and/or partner
Supreme organizational skills.
An understanding of general marketing principles.
Comfortable with numbers and an understanding of how they apply to
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal abilities.
Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
The ability to rise to challenges and find creative solutions to
A desire to learn continuously and stay abreast of industry
Ability to travel as needed (no more than 20% of the time).
A Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
At least 3 years of experience in account management or a related
