Job Description:
Marketing Product Manager - Direct Hire 100% Remote The
Marketing Product Manager will drive the messaging and positioning
of our products to communicate value for unique audience segments
at various stages of their lifecycle. In this cross-functional
role, you will work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales,
Development, and Customer Success teams, and oversee the
development of go-to-market strategies for product releases,
revenue initiatives, and sales readiness content. This role
leverages competitive research, market analysis and customer data
to develop target segments, define pricing, and create defensible
positioning in market. As an acting voice of the customer, this
role assists in influencing the product roadmap by connecting
directly with customers and using market research to recommend
improvements that increase growth and usage of products. In
addition to being an expert on our client's products and customers,
you will understand the competitive landscape and communicate that
throughout the organization. Main Responsibilities: Product
Commercialization & Messaging Champion Understand the product
feature set and its benefits and clearly articulate the value
proposition. Assist Marketing team in developing product narratives
that differentiate and position the product in the market. With the
Product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on
product features and their benefits. Work with our PR team to
communicate with analysts and press about the product and upcoming
releases. Sales/Partner Enablement: Partner with Product team to
communicate the value proposition of the product to the Sales team
and Partners. Create sales tools that align with the buying process
and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle. Work
with Training to support the selling process. Assist in the
development of price and volume plans for the product based on
fiscal year goals. Customer Intelligence: Be the "voice of the
customer" - be an expert on how our customers use their -client's
software, understanding the key benefits and problems they are
trying to solve. Create thought-leadership direction, key messages,
and content. Analyze data to identify opportunities including
pricing, sales, and channel performance, and the importance of
feature usage. Analyze the customer buy-flows to simplify and
remove friction from the process and increase adoption. Use
insights gained through direct customer contact and sales data to
identify new opportunities, influence the product roadmap, and
develop buyer personas. Market/Competitor Intelligence: Understand
competition and communicate market opportunities and insights to
organizational stakeholders (battle cards, etc.). Follow and
analyze market trends to position the product and identify new
required capabilities. Shape the feature/benefit story around the
brand and into a compelling reason to believe the product is at a
competitive advantage. Required Skills/Abilities: Requires full
understanding of approaches to assessing and improving the customer
value proposition. Must be able to creatively apply extensive
marketing knowledge including branding, product life cycle,
competitive positioning and communications. Expert in analysis and
decisions regarding the most complex or high impact aspects of
product and brand marketing. Requires strong cross-functional
leadership abilities. Excellent oral and written communication
skills. Strong analytical and presentation skills. Must have strong
people management skills. Bachelor's Degree 5-7 years of experience
as a Marketing or Product Manager. Experience working with a SaaS
