company. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for
managing project timelines, communicating with stakeholders, and
will execute many project tasks including group set up from
requirements documents, configuration of group into the COBRA
platform and data entry of member records. - You'll enjoy the
flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you
take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding
of program/project scope and objectives with the organization's
strategic objectives and the Voice of the Customer
- Raise awareness of any misalignment or misunderstanding of
project scope and objectives with applicable stakeholders
- Represent implementation team throughout sales process and
prospect presentations
- Ensure client's smooth transition to Optum through minimizing
operational impact and managing risk via continuous communication
and quick resolution of problems
- Create project plan and ensure tasks are completed within
designated timeframe/deadlines
- Manage weekly calls with client, broker, and partner during the
implementation
- Manage the setup and comprehensive testing of new file
interfaces working with EDI through initial production
- Provide summary status reporting
- Conduct audits on files and set up as needed
- Facilitate client education process; lead or coordinate
training with other departments regarding Optum's practices and
policies
- Manage renewal of existing clients who either increase
complexity of existing accounts or add additional accounts
- Proactively identify potential risks and provide solutions to
prevent post-go-live issues
- Provide recommendations to ensure positive member
experience
- Serve as primary client contact for implementation and
sixty-ninety days following effective date
- Identify and initiate internal process improvements
- Document internal and client-specific policies and
procedures
- Execute group set up from requirements documents and enter
group into COBRA platform
- Complete requested system changes
- Coordinates and enters applicable records from previous
vendors/clients and inputs data as accordingly
- Conducts client training for online portal
- Relied upon to provide opinions, research issues, and find
solutions, make routine decisions
- Participates in cross-functional task forces and special
projects

in. Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of project management and implementation experience
using data and information to make business decisions
- 2+ years of -experience working in a health benefits
environment
- 2+ years of COBRA administration experience, including
knowledge of COBRA compliance and other continuation
regulations
- Experience and ability to focus on client satisfaction, and
meet tight deadlines
- Proven experience managing multiple project timelines and make
decisions with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and
SharePoint Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management and implementation experience
using data and information to make business decisions
- 3+ years of experience working in a health benefits
environment
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal/presentation)
with an emphasis on being able to logically structure thoughts and
create organized visuals for clients and stakeholder To protect the

Group's Telecommuter Policy. Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada
Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100
to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is
$72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
