Job Overview:Job OverviewThe Sr. Manager - IT will serve as Lean Portfolio Manager for our Commercial Business and report solid line into the Sr. Director, PMO & Agility and dotted line into the VP, IT Commercial. The role requires both hands-on and strategic capabilities to provide lean portfolio management leadership and oversight to ensure value-driven governance both within our current delivery model and engaging as we transform to our "KDP" Agile delivery framework. A highly collaborative within and outside of the Commercial Portfolio partnering with the VP, IT and team to monitor and govern the execution of initiatives, including investment & funding management, delivering against key outcomes, managing change, driving IT excellence, process improvement and providing superior customer support. This role will combine IT delivery expertise, while leveraging the blended skillset of an agile coach and trusted business partner, to consult and manage the portfolio from original concept through successful change management and delivery of value.Responsibilities:Govern Commercial outputs as KDP evolves to a Scaled Agile and Lean environmentEnsure Agile PMO governance processes and decisions are applied and documented consistently and apply coaching where necessaryPromote a continuous improvement and learning environmentProactively manage and communicate horizontally and vertically within the organization allowing objective decisions to be made about project priorities, future investments and resource utilization.Oversee creation and review of key metrics and report related to committed outcomes to measure portfolio health.Partner with stakeholders to ensure key data is documented accurately and completely in lean business cases and funding and allocation requests have a clear business outcomesEnsures clear and consistent communications on the portfolio of work, its progress, challenges and risks through standard cadence & agile ceremonies with required teamsPartners with PfMs from other areas of IT to identify opportunities for efficiencies and resolve issues or risks to overall IT health, including understanding the larger/broader IT picture (strategy and work) and how their portfolio alignsParticipates and contributes to the capacity commitment discussions and decisions and identifies ways/means to resolve capacity conflict and/or demand conflictsPartners with the Commercial team to develop visible roadmaps to anticipate and manage new demand through the intake and pipeline processes, execution against commitments and support of the delivery teamsSupport Portfolio Financial management processes for planning cycles, delivery of work, management of ongoing cost/benefits realization processesCoaching:Teach, mentor, and coach teams, Scrum Masters, ARTs and Product on emerging Agile and Lean methodsUtilizes feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and partners with others to coach the program to continuously improveFosters innovation with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve program deliveryCoaches the program to improve collaboration and self-organizationActs as an Agile mentor/coach to any Agile role or stakeholderAgile and Technical Learning: Actively seeks and leads a variety of learning opportunities such as Communities of Practice, conferences, classroom training, and independent study to further develop self and communityRequirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum 8 years of progressive IT experience and 5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects/programs, including operating in an agile delivery modelProject Management or Agile Certification Preferred (PMP, SAFe certifications)Commercial process and technology expertise preferredConsultant and vendor management expertise strongly preferredLean, Kaizen, Six Sigma expertise strongly preferredProven experience managing effective governance in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or other agile methodology frameworkOutstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomesExcellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leadersAbility to translate complicated project concepts (milestones, risks, desired outcomes, decision options, etc.) into concise observations and recommendationsPossesses strong strategic orientation, analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and evaluate broad impacts of workDemonstrated leadership capability, including ability to lead, influence, and motivate others in a diverse work groupStrong team leadership to support identification and removal of impediments to deliveryProven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstancesComfortable working and leading by example in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environmentMust be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitmentsExperience in effective change management techniques and implementationAbility to travel up to 10-15%Company Overview & EEO Statement:Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is a leading coffee and beverage company in North America with dual headquarters in Burlington, MA and Plano, TX, with annual revenue in excess of $11 billion.
