The Senior Service Account Manager will be answering benefits questions related to coverage, assist in coordinating provider appointments, answer claims questions and processing needs, answer plan questions and give guidance on out-of-pocket costs, provider help. The role gives guidance on when to appeal and assist with any escalated issues, ensure that we are responsive within a timely manner depending on circumstances (2-hours urgent; 4-hours escalated; 24-hours standard), track trends and issues to report to collaborating teams. You will monitor group plan performance for eligibility, claims timeliness and accuracy, and provide service recovery on interactions documented as unsatisfactory. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. Our office is located at 1 East Washington St, Phoenix, AZ. Training over a course, on site for a few days and training for 2 weeks. All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall delivery of benefits and services by providing support and guidance to existing and potential customers to ensure continued membership
  • Provide expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers
  • Identify and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
    • 2+ years of client account management experience
    • 1+ years of claims processing experience
    • Ability to obtain Arizona Producer License within 90 days of hire
    • Experience using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, filter, and create simple spreadsheets)
    • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.       • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
      • Bilingual in English and Spanish
      • Experience with Dental, and Vision benefits
      • Project Management experience
      • SharePoint experience (navigating and creating records)
      • Experience using UNET, COSMOS, FACETS or NICE claims processing platforms Telecommuting Requirements:
