Job Description:

Overview: The Vice President of Orthodontics primary responsibility is to develop and grow the Orthodontic service line by increasing the revenue and profile for their assigned markets. - The incumbent will ensure the Orthodontic Service's success by providing support, training, and guidance for orthodontic teams in the markets and fostering a culture of comprehensive patient-first, dental care. - This position is expected to be a highly visible and engaged with the daily operations of each busy practice, working alongside the Ortho leaders and hardworking teams to help them meet their operational goals. Responsibilities:

  • Establish the growth strategy to increase the productivities for current Ortho offices
  • Evaluate and add the Ortho to Non-Ortho offices
  • Set the KPI and expectation for each office including the revenue, start and the require the operation days
  • Involve in Orthodontist hiring process including the school visit and Orthodontist placement
  • Review performance with field on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Work with marketing, call center, and GP leadership for new patient's flow
  • Manage the bad debt and increase the collections by following the underwriting guidelines and keep existing patients in treatment
  • Control payroll, lab, and supply expense
  • Identify and train regional Ortho leadership
  • Visit offices to evaluate and train on case acceptance and management
  • Follow the clinical leadership on the QM policy and best practice Qualifications: Education/Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher education
    • Previous Director of VP level position in a large dental organization (more than 50 offices)
    • Detailed knowledge of Orthodontic practice operations
    • Ability to travel 4 to 5 days per week frequently
    • Minimum 10 years management level experienceSkills/Abilities:
