Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYThe Strategic Programs Office (SPO) serves as CBREs
internal consulting organization; it includes four primarily
delivery areas: Organizational Change Management, Programmatic
Transformation Management, Services and Operations Enablement and
M&A Integration.For this specific role (VP, M&A
Integration, Strategic Programs Office), the responsibility is to
lead strategy and transformation of strategic merger and
acquisitions across the globe and across business lines. The role
works in conjunction with Corporate Development, whose team
identifies and assesses potential deals, to ensure smooth
integration.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE1. Manage Strategic
Programs Office portfolio for M&A Integration Office Enable
CBREs strategic M&A agenda and management dialogue by leading
programs across people, process, and technology capabilities
Establish trust-based, advisory client relationships. Drive
achievement of targeted client outcomes and overall SPO objectives
In an M&A environment, contribute to the business strategy as
well as the business plan on a consecutive level, from the
perspective of the assigned area, and ensure translation to
mid-term strategy and policy for the assigned area. Share best
practices on structuring the diligence and integration effort
(including insights from prior similar deals) Oversee integration
of acquisitions and investments into operations Program manage
execution of integration plans Lead identification and assessment
of post-integration process optimization opportunities Lead
identification and implementation of improvements to the M&A
process in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the
overall process Leads development, iteration and syntheses of key
messages during client meetings/presentations Projects and inspires
confidence while delivering relevant insights and expertise Play a
lead role in identifying opportunities to optimize SPO value
delivery and client outcome Ensure success conditions for effective
M&A knowledge transfer to clients and across SPO team Drive
development and documentation of new SPO intellectual capital from
ongoing client work Leads overall SPOs overall relationship
management with project delivery team and key stakeholders
Anticipates and manages potential issues and conflict with
executive leadership during client engagements Manages overall
relationship management with project delivery team and key
stakeholders Leverages relevant industry trends, line of business
and functional knowledge to play active role in shaping overall
client account plan, value proposition and relevant project agenda
Viewed by clients as expert and thought leader in M&A Plays a
lead active role designing, driving intellectual capital and
extended knowledge network in relevant areas2. Team Leadership
Formal supervision of 1-5 globally distributed direct reports (at
levels spanning Analyst, Consultant, Manager, Director) including
work supervision and professional development Formal supervision of
additional indirect/virtual team reports required to deliver
M&A programs Partners with key client stakeholders to structure
engagements with realistic scope, work cadence and effective team
balance & chemistry Ensures SPO team is positioned for success and
in roles that address developmental priorities Effectively
anticipates and manages project and team conflicts Manages
stressful situations with poise and without compromising client
service orientation Effectively leads a SPO community of practice
in M&A Shows strong followership of junior staff seeking to

Institution Building Leverages relevant industry trends, LoB and
functional knowledge to play active role in shaping SPOs overall

at least two functional areas (M&A, change management, or
operational process excellence) Plays an active role designing,
driving and safeguarding SPOs intellectual capital and extended
knowledge network in relevant areas Is an active member of relevant
professional associations Plays a lead role in CBREs corporate
innovation and knowledge management initiativesbeyond SPO-specific
initiatives Works with VPs to advance SPOs strategy and priority
client, team development and building institutional initiatives
Leads by example and encourages and enables junior team members to
participate and lead in corporate stewardship and local office
events QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an

EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in finance, business administration,
economics, technology, industrial engineering, organizational
psychology or related fieldsMasters degree preferredMinimum of 8-10
years related experience and general leadership experience
preferredBackground working in a supervisory/leadership position in
either a major strategy or operations consulting firm or an
internal consulting groupChange Management Expertise in major
organizational transformational program(s) outside of ERP
Implementation or Similar IT Implementations. and / or Process
Transformation expertise leveraging a defined methodology (Lean,
Six Sigma, Theory of constraints) are appreciatedReal estate or
other financial service industry experience preferredGood knowledge
of technology/digital trendsCERTIFICATION AND/OR
LICENSESCertification in the following disciplines are highly
desirable:
